Starring at the forefront of HEIWA is Chef Wong who has over two decades of experience in providing authentic Japanese cuisine. With his forte in sashimi and sushi, Chef Wong creates luxurious and premium dishes which delight the palate sensationally.
Chef Wong underwent five years of training by Japanese masters as a sushi chef at Ginza, Tokyo. Upon returning to Singapore, Chef Wong participated in the Food Hotel Asia (FHA) competition. Armed with excellent culinary skills, he was praised highly for his exemplary performance, and came up as the first runner-up among many experienced chefs from all over the world.

Chef Wong has offered his best in crafting his Omakase experiences that captured the hearts and stomachs of his many loyal followers. Each Omakase course is a new creation that harmonise the handpicked seasonal ingredients and flavours.
